Vicki Gunvalson's Plastic Surgery Regrets and What You Should Keep in Mind

Many people become embarrassed by the way they look. They may not like the way their nose is, wish they had a bigger bust, rounder butt, and much more. While this is a common problem, there are some people who end up experiencing that embarrassment at a heightened level, such as reality TV stars.

Vicki Gunvalson, Real Housewives of Orange County star, recently opened up about her regrets about getting plastic surgery, and they’re not what you might expect. While Gunvalson does have some regrets, she doesn’t feel that she would never get a procedure again, nor is she currently unhappy with the results of her then-procedures.

Vicki Gunvalson Opens Up

Gunvalson mentioned she had several procedures done before filming season 8 of Real Housewives. Though she wanted to look good for the cameras, she didn’t realize they would be showing up quite so soon.

“I thought we were going to have a break of two to three months and all of a sudden cameras were up and I was like a moon face. I was so swollen and I couldn’t move my mouth and it was totally embarrassing.”

Gunvalson has even more regrets because these moments will forever be available to those who want to view them—on DVD and in reruns. This is why she says she “regret[s] doing that surgery right before” filming began.

However, Gunvalson is looking forward to her next procedure and said she’s hoping to get her neck done next, so this experience clearly didn’t turn her off of plastics forever.

How Can I Avoid This Problem?

You can avoid a problem like Gunvalson’s by having a consultation with a licensed plastic surgeon. Your doctor will be able to tell you how long your recovery time will be and help you plan out the best time of the year to get the surgery. This way, you won’t have to deal with people seeing the new you before you’re ready to unveil it.
