1. How does VelaShape™ work?

VelaShape™ uses elos™ technology; heat, suction, massage, and light which precisely targets fat tissues within the treatment area. VelaShape treatment improves the texture of skin while also reducing the appearance of cellulite. This treatment is a less invasive substitute to liposuction because it improves the silhouette and appearance of the treated area with zero incisions.

2. What body areas can be treated with VelaShape™?

VelaShape™ can be performed on several different parts of the body in our New York Cellulite Treatment office in Long Island and our VelaShape NYC location in Manhattan. Depending on whether the patient is looking to reduce inches or improve skin texture, our NY cosmetic surgeon will use either the VSmooth or VContour applicators on the VelaShape™ device. These applicators are designed for large and small body areas so that cellulite can be safely and effectively treated on the buttocks, thighs, calves, arms, abdomen, and face.

3. How quickly will results be visible?

As you continue your session of VelaShape™ treatments, you will gradually begin to notice the surface of your skin becoming smoother, firmer and tighter. Results will continue to improve as cellulite treatment progresses, and a substantial improvement will be noticed in the overall appearance of the skin and the contour of the area that underwent treatment. Final results of the VelaShape™ treatments are generally visible about 6 to 8 weeks after the final treatment is completed.
