Did Kate Hudson Have Plastic Surgery? Blog By Advanced Cosmetic Surgery of NY located in Long Island and NYC.

Though Kate Hudson has never come out and said yea or nay herself, fans of the actress have sworn for years that she must have had “some work done” at some point in her career; the most rumored procedure being a nose job. And, according to several doctors, it does seem likely.

Dr. Vartan Mardirossian told Closer Weekly that he believes Hudson got rhinoplasty at some point. “She gained a great deal of dorsal projection. In other words, the so-called bridge of the nose is more prominent in the after photo.”

Dr. Mardirossian said an implant or a bone graft could have been used in the procedure, and he also stated that Hudson’s nose appears straighter than before. All in all, he calls it a “good [although] somewhat ‘early’ result.”

Dr. Andrew Miller gave Closer Weekly a second opinion, stating, “It does appear that the bridge of the nose and the tip have been made smaller, but not overly so, which is very important in rhinoplasty.” He then lauded the importance of creating a natural look when it comes to this particular procedure.

What Does Kate Say?

Hudson herself has never formally stated whether she has or has not surgically altered her nose (or any plastic surgery for that matter), but the actress and daughter of Goldie Hawn has, of course, been asked. When InStyle popped the question, Hudson said, “That’s like asking someone if they see a therapist—and why?”

Hudson did not have anything negative to say about aesthetic surgery, stating, “If someone wants to go get butt implants, then sure, go get butt implants.” But she was clear about what she feels is more important: “The real question is, how do they treat the person next to them?”

Our Take on the Alleged Plastic Surgery

When it comes down to it, whether Hudson had surgery or not, it’s none of our business. All that matters is how she feels about herself. If it takes some changes in her appearance to improve her self-esteem, then that’s her personal decision. As we often tell our patients, the choice to change their appearance should be based on their own thoughts of how they look, not what others think of them.
