Tamra Judge, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Orange County, shared her plastic surgery story on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on July 10th. Judge was completely open about the procedure and seemed thrilled with her new look.
With her RHOC anniversary on the horizon, it seemed Judge felt the need for a change. “It’s my 10-year anniversary,” she told Cohen. “I went and saw Dr. Ambe. I had my neck and lower face done 15 days ago.” After consulting with her doctor, she decided to try surgery as an option to help her remove some excess skin that was caused by earlier weight loss.
“I told him ever since I lost so much body fat competing that my skin is drooping and he said, ‘Gain 10 percent body fat or have it pulled.’”
Judge revealed that she doesn’t consider the procedure she underwent to be as intense as a facelift or other, more invasive procedures. “I call it a comeback… It’s a mini.” She was also clear that she decided against dermal fillers because she doesn’t like the way they look. “I say pull it, don’t plump it.” So that’s exactly what her doctor did.
After her “little tuck,” Judge said she didn’t have any bruising and that she had the staples removed from behind her ears about two days prior to being on Cohen’s show. In order to complete her look, Judge also got a shorter haircut, which shows off the changes to her facial features.
“I’m taking it back to Season 3,” she told Cohen.
