Dr. Emmanuel Asare is the founder of our practice and the Director of our New York Cosmetic Surgeon team. He attended medical school at Vinnitsa Medical Institute in the Ukraine (which was part of the Soviet Union at the time). His internship in General Surgery was completed at Columbia University at the College of Physicians and Surgeons and finished his residency in Internal Medicine at Brooklyn’s Brookdale University Hospital. Once his residency was finished, he went into private practice in New York where he co-founded and directed Pegasus Medical Group, a large multi-specialty practice. After that, he worked as the VP of Network Development for South Shore Rockaway IPA.

Dr. Asare decided to become a New York cosmetic surgeon after several years in private practice and medical practice management. This new career direction led him to train with some of the country’s best New York and Long Island Cosmetic Surgeon teams and to start Advanced Cosmetic Surgery of New York. He decided to concentrate in minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures for which he has received specific and specialized training for. He is an expert in laser-assisted tumescent liposuction (SmartLipo) as well as liposuction that is power-assisted.

Along with a steady hand and a skilled mind, Dr. Asare’s ability to provide minimally-invasive procedures to his patients using laser-assistance whenever possible is how he has become such a well-known New York Cosmetic Surgeon. Not only is he recognized for his gynecomastia surgery (male breast reduction) using SmartLipo laser-assisted liposuction, but he has also perfected the art of laser-assisted body sculpting using SmartLipo. Dr. Emmanuel Asare belongs to the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Physicians and the American Society of Liposuction Surgery as well as several other renowned physician and surgeon associations. He is a Long Island Cosmetic Surgeon with an office in Commack as well as New York Cosmetic Surgeon offices in Manhattan.
